Las Villuercas Natural Trail

Between the valleys of the Tagus and the Guadiana, this region is especially famous for its geological singularity that generates other particularities, both hydrological and botanical.

This nature trail, which serves as a link between the Natural Trails Vía Verde Vegas del Guadiana and Vía Verde de La Jara, allows you to discover the interesting natural heritage (La Lorera de la Trucha, the Ecological and Biodiversity Corridor “Río Guadalupejo” or the ZEPA of the Sierra de Las Villuercas), as well as historical and artistic (the monastery of Guadalupe – World Heritage Site – or the largest concentration of cave paintings in Extremadura) of Las Villuercas.
