TECHNICAL DATA

The road heads south, apparently we leave in the opposite direction, but we are going to make a small detour and thus visit some of the most characteristic ecosystems of the Geopark, while we give a little more time to the sensations that will accompany us all the way.

Flat dehesa landscapes at the beginning, it is like a warm-up. All oak and a few olive groves near the river. Until we cross the Guadalupejo River, here the road connects with the Ruta de los Molinos.

We climb uphill between reforestation pines and pastures to the Rest Area of Los Gaitanejos. A true crossroads of paths and possibilities. We continue on our way, now heading towards Guadalupe. His vision is always haunting in the distance. Gradually we approached between a beautiful meadow of oak and cork oak.

It remains to descend to the river and climb vertiginously to Guadalupe, a last effort that more than rewards our arrival.
