The Museum Center “El Silo” is an old silo from 1957 that has been renovated to give different uses to the building.
At present, the first floor is used for different events, such as conferences, but above all it focuses on exhibiting authors from the area to showcase their work.
There are also exhibitions on the environment or on the origins and customs of the town of Alía and its districts.
The visit to the museum is guided by the person in charge of the center, who explains the different contents that exist in the place: It usually lasts up to 1 hour and 15 minutes, but we always adapt to the time available to our visitors.
The visit and the service is free of charge, there is no established maximum quota for groups and it is accessible for people with reduced mobility.
