In the village of La Calera we can see a simple church probably built in the XV or XVI century. It looks authentic because of its simplicity, it seems to us that time has not passed through it.
It is located in the highest part of the town. Its entire structure is practically intact. The temple consists of a rectangular nave and an apse, with no exterior adornment other than a belfry with a bell. The interior is simple and well cared for.
The temple is presided over by the Virgen de los Dolores, whose festivity during Holy Week acquires great relevance. There is also a granite baptismal font.
